We are setting ourselves the goal of enabling and aiding domesticated or captured animals to live their sexuality in a self-determined, sensual and healthy manner with relish, but without negative consequences for themselves or their surroundings. We try to achieve these goals by enlightenment, education, research and public relations work.
We do everything we can to stop sexualized violence, of which sexual mutilation of animals is also and especially a part of, in any form.
With our educational work we want to advance thinking with and about animals in solidarity and appropriate to their species in all areas and as an inseparable part thereof proclaim their natural and inborn right to sexuality. Special attention in our work will be directed at the prevention of sexualized violence of which especially the very severe and very frequently occurring sexual mutilation of castration of animals is a part of.
Due to the extremely high numbers of animal castrations, their severity and relevance for animals and their dignity, it is one of our primary goals in the area of sexuality of animals to stop unnecessary castration of animals in favor of functionally-equivalent or similar, but less-damaging procedures or methods.
