What makes the Organization for Animal Dignity better than other "Animal Protection" Organizations

Contrary to other "Animal Protection Organizations" we, the Organization for Animal Dignity approve of a as-good-as-possible-satisfaction of all needs of an animal individual, not only of those which are relevant for human profit, for the use of the animal owner or for the survival of the animal. At the same time we do not only protect those parts, organs, needs and behaviors of animals which are needed for human use and profit, but accept the animal as a sentient being with own inalienable rights, as an integral individual with an own dignity and a value which is bigger than the sum of its parts or organs. Inseparably connected with that is the right to freedom from physical and mental harm, which the Organization for Animal Dignity grants the animal and protects to our knowledge as the first and currently only animal protection organization worldwide.

Even if animals are not capable of human language, we not only acknowledge animals to have own feelings such as pain, thirst, hunger, fear, lust, happiness, etc. but also the ability to communicate these feelings and make them known. Thereby not only the consideration and the respecting of the will of the animal which is communicated with the animal's species-specific form of communication is derived under consideration of ethical principles as well as theoretical and practical specialist knowledge of the species, but also the duty to grant every animal, no matter in which situation of life, the right to a self-determination over its body, its needs and its life which is as big as possible.

Why don't other "Animal Protection Organizations" do that as well?
Quite simple: Because the price of the truth is too high.
It's all in the money. And in the lies.
Money means power and power often creates dependencies which in turn often lead to lies. That's why all big and powerful "animal protection" organizations are dependent on the good will of their donators, human donators.
However, these donators all have an own agenda, own needs and interests in regards to animals. Needs and interests such as using animals as pets or companions, as a source of meat, as a riding mount, etc. Needs and interests which do not represent or are often even in direct and harsh conflict with the true, scientifically objective needs and interests of animals.
That's why most "animal protection" Organizations do an O.K. job at protecting the tradition and culture of using animals in the exact ways as their donators and sponsors practice themselves, but a catastrophic and horrible job at saying the truth, at representing and protecting the real, true and scientifically objective interests and needs of animals.
"Animal Protection" is in many more ways than society is willing to confess, big and important business for an animal using and abusing society. - With all drawbacks, tricks, and propaganda known to big business.

Because Mark Schmid could no longer passively tolerate this situation and its unsatisfying results for animals, he founded a new animal protection project which should be much more independent and thus guarantee a much better quality protection for animals: Instead of financing animal protection by public donators who base their support on their own culture of using animals, the Organization for Animal Dignity is financed more or less anonymously by all people who participate in the project. That's why it is not wanted, that any one single person or even a certain group of people pay for the costs of the Organization for Animal Dignity or create all of its content. Instead everyone, every reader makes an own little contribution according to his or her will to support the Organization for Animal Dignity and according to his or her financial or other capabilities.
Such an approach should assure a much better quality and objectiveness in animal protection and education about animals due to the increased independence from human donators, than is possible in other animal protection organizations.
